Stolen Cadillac found, returned to owner

A 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood stolen Friday morning from a home in the 3300 block of Indiana Avenue was found and returned to its owner about 40 minutes after the theft was reported, said Vicksburg Police Officer Milton Moore.

The car was reported missing at 7:30 a.m. and was found abandoned about three miles away in the 100 block of Eastover Drive, said Moore. The car was not damaged and the owner reported nothing missing, he said.

No suspects had been identified.

Cash, copper, porcelain reported missing

One business burglary and two residential burglaries were reported in Vicksburg Friday, said officer Milton Moore.

Cash in the amount of $20 was reported missing from Olde Tyme Barber Shop, 4407 Halls Ferry Road.

Separately, several porcelain pieces valued at around $3,000 were reported missing from a home in the 3300 block of Woodland Place, and about $100 in copper was reported missing from a home in the 100 block of Lovers Lane, said Moore.

No suspects had been identified in any.
