The red beans and rice banquet, along with wildlife exhibits and products, begins at the church’s Family Life Center at 1607 Cherry St. at 5:30 p.m. It is free.

Robertson, known for creating a duck call that is sold across the United States, is recognized for his hunting videos and his TV show, “The Duck Commander.”

The banquet is a first for First Baptist, which previously offered a wilderness supper. Guests will walk through booths focused on wildlife, hunting and fishing as they continue down the supper line. Outdoor vendors will be in the hall, and taxidermy will be on display.

“It’s a great way for everybody to get into church, especially those who may not normally come,” said church spokesman Allen Karel. “We get to reach out to sportsmen through a great, fun event.”
