Willie Mae Ousley died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 88.

Mrs. Ousley was a longtime Vicksburg resident. She was a member of New Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church, where she served in the Usher Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norean James and Eddie Woods; her husband, Novel Ousley; a son, James Huntley; two sisters, Mary Allen and Elizabeth Webb; one daughter, Jeanie Woods; and two brothers, Andrew Woods and Charleston Woods.

She is survived by a son, John Woods of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
