The engagement of Tiffani Deanine Palazza to John Kirby Day, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. April 18, 2010, at Cedar Grove Mansion. A reception will follow.

Miss Palazza is the daughter of Edward and Jean Moore of Fort Deposit, Ala. She is the granddaughter of  the late Gerald Moore and Jean Moore of Whitman, Mass., and Frank Palazza and the late Arlene Palazza of Kenilworth, N.J., formerly of Fairford, Ala.

Mr. Day is the son of Dannette and Ronald Pettingill of Woodstock, Ga. He is the grandson of the late Harold and Tressie Smith of Jasper, Ga.; the late Nobby Day of Delta, La.; and the late Habilee Goad of Mendenhall.

The bride-elect is a 1993 graduate of Whitman Hanson Regional High School. She is a waitress at Goldie’s Trail Barbecue.

The prospective groom is a 1994 graduate of Mendenhall High School. He is a jobsite foreman for KC’s Paint and Remodel.
