S. Jeanette Jerls died Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 83.

Mrs. Jerls was born in Fulton, and has lived in Vicksburg since 1951. She was a licensed beautician and a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton L. Jerls, and her son, Joseph Melvin Findley.

Survivors include a son, Scotty C. Cothran Sr. of Vickburg, and a brother, Clell M. Allred Jr. of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Ivy, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of the service at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tom Nobles, Kenny McKay, Dick Galbreath, Clell Allred III, Tommy Clarkson and Forest Sink. Honorary pallbearers will be BB Secrist, Ronnie Terrell and Dr. Paul Pierce.
