Arasimo Charles Borrello Jr.

NEW ORLEANS — Arasimo Charles “Charlie” Borrello Jr. of Hattiesburg died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, as the result of a car wreck in Pearl River County, Miss. He was 47.

Mr. Borrello was a native in New Orleans, where he was a  graduate of Jesuit High School, and he attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of New Orleans.

Mr. Borrello was an employee of the Silver Slipper in Diamondhead at the time of his death, and he was the former owner and chef for Borrello’s Restaurant in Vicksburg and former manager of Chappy’s in Long Beach and Farraday’s at the Isle of Capri Casino in Vicksburg.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Mills Borrello of Hattiesburg; two sons Joseph Charles Borrello and Austin Charles Borrello, both of Hattiesburg; his parents, Arasimo Charles Borrello Sr. and Jessie Ourso Borrello of New Orleans; three brothers, Peter Borrello, Robert Borrello and Jodi Borrello, all of New Orleans; a sister, Jane B. Lamere of New Orleans; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. A wake will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
