Workers build an administrative building for Vicksburg-based construction company Dirt Works on the ground of the former Barrett Refinery. The company is performing work at the 30-acre site on Warrenton Road, which is prepared to reopen as an crude oil processing facility, developer Paul Campbell said this month. Financing is in place, but operations aren’t expected to begin until next year, Campbell said. Barrett Refinery closed in 1996.
