Five injured in wreck

Vicksburg emergency personnel talk to one of five victims of a one-car wreck on Timberlane Drive Tuesday evening. Two of the five remained in hospitals this morning — Caleb Sterling, 8, was at University Medical Center in Jackson in fair condition, and Michael Rohrer, 14, was in good condition at River Region Medical Center. Sheriff Martin Pace said both were passengers in a car driven by Erin Sterling, 16, 2060 Yorktown Road, who said she lost control of the eastbound car, spun around and rolled before the 2009 Toyota Camry came to rest upside down in a ditch. Erin and two other brothers, Joshua, 14, and Seth, 6, also were taken to River Region, where all three were treated and released. (Katie Carter*The Vicksburg Post)
