Webster T. Herron

JACKSON — Webster T. Herron died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 90.

Mr. Herron was a longtime resident of Rolling Fork, where he was a retired farmer and worked for the National Forest Service. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.

He is survived by one son, George Willis Herron of Knoxville, Tenn.; three daughters, Melissa Faye Neal of Vicksburg, Irma Herron Welch of Brandon and Vivian Websterine Herron of Charlotte, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends, including his caregiver Yolanda Palmer of Pearl.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, 886 N. Farrish St. in Jackson. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
