The engagement of Grace S. Elliott, formerly of Dallas, to Micheal G. Quinton, formerly of Winnsboro, La., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. April 17, 2010, in Haughton, La. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Elliott is the daughter of Jessie Elliott of Bonham, Texas, Bill Wrye of Dallas and Sharon Elliott of The Colony, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Archie and Louise Sanders of Mississippi and Leon Elliott Sr. and the late Irline Thomas of Dallas.

Mr. Quinton is the son of Thomas Chesney and the late Sandra Chesney of Monroe, La. He is the grandson of Melba Whitten and the late Robert Whitten and Clarence and Marvee Chesney, all of Louisiana.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She is employed at the office of Dr. Martin V. Chaney DMD PA.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Winnsboro High School. He is employed with Golding Barge Line.
