Two men accused in an armed robbery and assault that resulted in a fatal shootout Thursday night have been identified by Vicksburg police.

Jaime Flores, 26, 919 Dallas St., Houston, Texas, is being sought in the robbery and assault at La Chiquita, a grocery at 4002 U.S. 61 South. Flores, who goes by Jesus Garci and “Chuwy,” is believed to have been living in the Jackson area, Lt. Bobby Stewart said Monday afternoon. 

Killed in the shootout at the U.S. 61 South and Interstate 20 interchange was Jose Arenas, 25, 12013 Glorieta, San Elizario, Texas.
