Lee Manuel “Sug” Burns died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 66.

Mr. Burns was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Elmira Burns; and seven brothers.

He is survived by one son, James Burns of Baton Rouge; two daughters, one of Vicksburg and Lachell Fitzgerald of Nashville; one sister, Dorothy Tatum of Dalton, Ill.; three brothers, George Burns and Frank Burns, both of Chicago, and Charles Burns of Aurora, Ill.; one grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Willie Mae Brown of Vicksburg.

Robbins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
