FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Services for Leon Stewart will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Travelers Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas E. Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Stewart died Monday, March 8, 2010, at Fort Walton Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He was 57.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Stewart was a 1972 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School. He retired as a tech sergeant from Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, Fla., after 20 years. He was employed by Indyne Corporation at Eglin Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife, daughters, sons and brother; a sister, Bernice Bass-Hilliard of Vicksburg; and members of the Heard and Brown families.
