Dee White went 3-for-4 with an RBI triple and two runs scored, and Jay Harper doubled, scored two runs and drove in two more as Warren Central (6-5) hammered DeSoto Central at the Big Blue Tournament at Madison Central. Jimmie Elliott also had two hits and two RBIs, and scored three runs for the Vikings.

Colby Key earned the win, allowing two runs and five hits in five innings. He walked one and struck out four. Key also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Warren Central trailed 1-0 after the first inning, but took the lead for good with five runs in the second. It put the game out of reach with six more runs in the fourth inning. The Vikings had three extra base hits in the six-run fourth — White’s triple, a two-run double by Harper and an RBI double by Beau Wallace.

WC will finish its run in the Big Blue Tournament tonight, with games against Oak Grove at 5 p.m. and Brandon at 7.
