Lorene Morgan Wasson died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Wasson was preceded in death by her husband, George Wasson.

She is survived by a son, Windle Wasson of Brandon; a daughter, Annie Faye Wright of Vicksburg; one brother, Lamar Morgan of Pascagoula; one sister, Mamie Shuler of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Burial will follow at Carson Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 8 and on Sunday from noon until 2 at the funeral home.
