Elites refuse to deal with realities of illegal immigration

Crime unpunished is crime rewarded. Congress approved and President Reagan signed the Simpson-Mazzoli Act in 1986, giving 2.7 million illegal border-crossers amnesty. This bill was supposed to put an end to the growing number of border-bounders; however, the pardon given to these lawbreakers became an invitation for 3 million others to come.
In 2006, millions of immigrants — mostly illegal — demonstrated across America. They demanded amnesty, continued benefits and acquisition by Mexico of several southwestern states. One organization, La Raza (the term means “the race”) flew Mexican flags and heaped scorn on Old Glory. Understandably, Americans became angry. President George W. Bush, though he was big on amnesty himself, promised to fix the problem by means of an electronic fence, 6,000 additional guards and no more amnesty. The fence was not built, the 6,000 guards not added and Sens. Kennedy and McCain introduced the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007. “Comprehensive” meant amnesty to the promoters; however, Americans protested and voters helped to kill this bill.
Today, 12 to 20 million lawbreakers have cost the states $2.6 trillion by way of food stamps, housing, incarceration of criminals and health care. Americans are weary of paying. Article IV, Section 4 in our Constitution guarantees each state a republican form of government and to protect each state against invasion. Yet our government does not punish businesses that hire illegal immigrants. Therefore, millions continue to come, even while 15 million Americans in 2009 joined 15 million other Americans who were already unsuccessfully seeking work.
Borders would be closed if existing laws were enforced, and there would be millions of jobs for legal citizens. Border bounders would go back to their own wonderful country, where they should rally for their oligarchy government’s transformation to a republic.
Our nation’s middle class people control 75 percent of the wealth. Our government and the elites who pull both parties’ puppet strings want our money. Their agenda is a New World Order. We, the people, are to site down and shut up — or else.
