Dr. Peggy Brasfield Wright, assistant director for Human Capital at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, has been named a Distinguished Fellow of the Mississippi State University Bagley College of Engineering.

Wright, the first ERDC employee to hold a full-time position with the Human Capital Initiative, is one of 10 selected for the program, which began in 1992 to recognize alumni who have made significant contributions to their field.

Wright is a 25-year veteran of the Corps. She has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and a master’s and doctorate from MSU, all in computer science.
