CARLISLE — Annie Mae “Kooler” Walker died Friday, April 9, 2010, at her home. She was 63.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Estus Walker Jr.; and her parents, Chatman Shoulders Sr. and Fannie Mae Shorter-Shoulders.

Survivors include a son, Estus Walker III of Byram; three daughters, Gwendolyn Walker of Jackson, Linda Walker of Port Gibson and Gracie Miller of Carlisle; seven brothers, Chatman Shoulders Jr., T.J. Shoulders, Jim Shoulders, Ronald Shoulders and Randy Shoulders, all of Carlisle, George Shoulders of Chicago and Robert Shoulders of Jackson; four sisters, Janie Epps of Hermanville and  Elizabeth Shoulders, Elsie King and Mary Shoulders, all of Carlisle; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Johnnie Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Pattison with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be today from 1 until 6 at the funeral home and Saturday from noon until the service at the church.
