ROLLING FORK — Carolyn Ann Thornhill died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Promise Hospital. She was 65.

Mrs. Thornhill was born in Hamilton, Miss., and was a resident of Rolling Fork for the past 60 years. She was a retired radiology technician from Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Thornhill; a grandson, Jason Palmer; and three brothers, Charles Brown, Lamon Brown and William Brown.

Survivors include a son, Eric Thornhill of Little Rock; a daughter, Cindy Palmer of Rolling Fork; five sisters, Myrtie Schaeffer of Forney, Texas, Deloris Byrd of Aberdeen, Miss., Shelby Chism of Bigbe, Miss., Dorothy Romminger of Hattiesburg and Faye Walden of Rolling Fork; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from noon until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Josh Thornhill, Jeremiah Thornhill, Joey Walden, Johnny Walden, Robert Walden and Brandon Keith.
