My wife and I attended Riverfest Friday night. I paid the $20 apiece to enter.

I arrived about 15 minutes before the gate opened and had to wait until about 10 minutes after 6 for staff and security to finish sweeping the area for stragglers they needed to remove or make pay, but the real issue was that once we did enter what we saw was that I had paid a cover fee basically to go buy food from vendors that was in itself a little pricey.

There was only one bandstand this year with no real headliners. If Riverfest continues to be less and less each year, it will continue to draw fewer and fewer in attendance. We are really missing an opportunity to showcase Vicksburg.
