MADISON – Warren Central finally managed some runs against Madison Central, they just didn’t get enough.

Last year’s Class 5A state champions came up with an answer every time Warren Central applied pressure in Friday night’s Game 1 of a Class 6A series at Madison Central.

The Jaguars (27-2) got out jams in the fifth and seventh inning to hold off the Vikings 7-5 to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 is today at noon at Viking Field.
