The wind wrapped The Beast around tree limbs, flipped cars and RVs and spread them across the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 and left bloodied faces in shock and awe.
These are a few of the images that a Vicksburg rock band saw just after realizing they had just survived a tornado while on their way to a show in Memphis on April 24.
Dustin Thomas, Meredith Spencer and Nate Wright of Burning Windsor will tell their story Friday morning on a national television show hosted by TV personalities Al Roker and Stephanie Abrams.
On Saturday, they will perform at a concert of bands attempting to raise money for tornado victims.
