CARMEL, Calif. — Josie Mae Archer died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Community Hospital in Carmel, Calif. She was 72.

Mrs. Archer was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maggie Archer; and a nephew, Cedric Archer.

Survivors include three sisters, Alberta Lyons and Patricia Archer, both of Vicksburg, and Margaret Hunter of Seaside, Calif.; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including members of the Myles, Hunter and Lyons families.

Mission Memorial Park of Seaside has charge of arrangements.
