JACKSON — Robert Davis Jr. died Monday, May 10, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 66.

Mr. Davis was retired from Canadian National Railroad. He was a veteran of U.S. Army and a member of Pleasant Green M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Davis Sr. and Geneva Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Rosie Davis of Jackson; two sons, Bobby Davis of Vicksburg and Robert Davis III of Utica; six stepsons, Charles Williams of Vicksburg, Patrick Anderson of Dallas, Jamal Griffin of Kansas City, Mo., and Christian Griffin, Leon Anderson and Walter Anderson, all of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Cynthia Lemann of Chicago and Lena Hackett of Vicksburg; five stepdaughters, Barbara Davis, Marissa Davis, Wanda Anderson and Sharon Harris, all of Vicksburg, and Frances Anderson of Raytown, Mo.; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
