Carlton, Abraham recite vows March 27

Frederick Barnett “Eric” Carlton III and Virginia Helen “Gin Gin” Abraham were married at 2 p.m. March 27, 2010, at Foxfire Ranch in Waterford, Miss. The Rev. Patrick Sanders officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Ellis Abraham II of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Hill Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Ellis Abraham, all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Barnett Carlton II of Jackson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Eddins of Coldwater and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Barnett Carlton Sr. of Arkabutla.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen color was green. A program of nuptial music was presented by Lara Clement, violinist, and Rosamond and Jamie Posey, soloists.

Matrons of honor were Dr. Mary Frances Abraham Lynch of Fort Worth, Texas; Emily Anne Abraham Bosworth of Coronado, Calif.; and Rosamond Posey of Oxford. Bridesmaids were Kayla Abraham of Madison, Jorja Hurdle of Oxford, Kristen Phillips of Atlanta and Rebecca Haas of Savannah, Ga.

Junior bridesmaids were Hannah Frances Bosworth of Coronado and Meghan Virginia Lynch of Fort Worth.

Flower girls were Anna Katherine Lynch and Lauren Elizabeth Lynch, both of Fort Worth, and Madelyn Grace Abraham and Anabelle Ruth Abraham, both of Madison.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Carlton, Ben Carlton and Patrick McClary, all of Jackson; Dr. Jamison Posey and Austin Marshall, both of Oxford; and Dr. George Ellis Abraham III of Madison.

Ushers were David Lynch of Fort Worth and Dr. Robert Bosworth of Coronado.

Ring bearers were Robert “Hill” Bosworth and Hunter Campbell Bosworth, both of Coronado, and George “Elias” Abraham of Madison.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Negril, Jamaica.

They will make their home in Oxford. The bride is employed at Oxford University School, and the groom is employed with Cherie Matthews Real Estate.
