Steve and Sue Griffing of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Carolyn, to Edward Roscoe McKnight IV. Mr. McKnight is the son of Edward McKnight III and Kathy Corbin of Vicksburg.

Miss Griffing is the granddaughter of Effle Lee Griffing and the late William Griffing and Virginia Strawn and the late James Strawn II, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. McKnight is the grandson of Jean McKnight and the late Edward McKnight II and the late L.A. and Lena Mae Corbin, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School.

She is a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart Pharmacy.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Warren Central High School.

He attended Mississippi State University and is a self-employed farmer.

Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. June 19, 2010, at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
