City, county report weekend burglaries

Electronics, cash and lawn equipment were among items missing in seven burglaries reported during the weekend in the city and county.
At 6:05 this morning, a John Deere 22-inch lawn mower valued at $500 and a Weed Eater valued at $300 were reported stolen from a home in the 700 block of Santa Rosa Drive, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
About $9 and an Apple iPhone valued at $250 were reported stolen from an unlocked 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt in the 3500 block of Manor Drive at 9:12 p.m. Sunday.
At 2:22 p.m. that day, a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun valued at $300, a Kodak digital camera valued at $200, a BlackBerry cellphone valued at $300 and $80 cash were reported stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Main Street.
At 10:59 p.m. Saturday, a box of ice cream sandwiches valued at $4.50, a Nintendo DS valued at $180, a 12-pack of Faygo sodas valued at $5 and a pair of Nike Shox sneakers valued at $100 were reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Athens Avenue.
Thirty minutes earlier, a 32-inch Philips flat-screen TV valued at $700 was reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of Springridge Drive.
A Philips CD player valued at $80 and a table and four chairs valued at $350 were reported stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Court Street at 7:11 a.m.
In Warren County, an RCA camcorder valued at $400, two 19-inch TVs valued at $300 together and a two-carat diamond cluster valued at $3,500 were reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of Wright Road at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, records showed.
