Ruby Saxton Worthy died Monday, May 17, 2010, at her home. She was 69.

Mrs. Worthy was a native of Midway, and had lived in Vicksburg most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Worthy; her father, Plezy Lee Saxton; her mother, Doris Elizabeth Davis; her stepfather, Carl Davis; her sister, Barbara Jackson; and a granddaughter, Kelli Roberts.

Survivors include her son, David Oneal Roberts Jr. of Vicksburg; three daughters, Sandy Lovell of Vicksburg, Judith R. Heidenreich of Monroe, La., and Donna Roberts Pevey of Madison; a brother, Frankie Davis of Yazoo City; a sister, Elizabeth Hester of Bastrop, La.; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. D.W. Tipton officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Heidenreich, Justin Hedgepeth, Cameron Hedgepeth, Kyle Hedgepeth, Kelsey Roberts and Colin Roberts.
