CARY — Services for Jimmie Smith Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Fitler. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 78.

He was of the Baptist faith.
