Donald and Julia Jones of Huntsville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily L. of Nashville, Tenn., to Stanley Craig Ross Jr. of Huntsville. Mr. Ross is the son of Stanley and Tricia Ross of Vicksburg.

Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Billie T. Barbee and Robert E. Jones, both of Huntsville.

The bride-elect received Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology from the University of Alabama in May 2008.

Miss Jones is a graduate student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Latin Club, Quiz Bowl, Academic Decathlon, Tennis Team, Robotics Team and Technology Student Association.

He received Bachelor of Science degrees in computer engineering and computer science from Mississippi State University in May 2005.

Mr. Ross is an engineer at Dynamic Concepts Inc.

The wedding will be June 26, 2010, at the Huntsville Museum of Art. A reception will follow.
