Miss Hugley to marry Mr. Mendoza June 19

The engagement of Brea Hugley of Vicksburg to Macelino Mendoza of Nashville is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. June 19, 2010, at Highland Baptist Church in Vicksburg. A reception will follow at the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Hugley is the daughter of Deborah Roberge and James Hugley, both of Vicksburg. She is also the foster daughter of Joann White and the late Robert White of Vicksburg, and the foster granddaughter of Lorene White of Oxford.

Mr. Mendoza is the son of Denise Pryor and stepson of Tony Towns, both of Nashville. He is the grandson of the late Margie Anglea of Nashville.

The bride-elect graduated from Vicksburg High School. She received her associate degree in nursing from Alcorn State University.

Miss Hugley is a registered nurse in adult critical care at River Region Medical Center.

The prospective groom attended Hunters Lane in Nashville and Hinds Community College in Vicksburg.

Mr. Mendoza is a full-time employee of Ameristar Casino and is a part-time employee of Hampton Inn and Suites. He is the father of two children, Bella and Ethan Mendoza of Vicksburg.
