NEW ORLEANS ­— Sharon Charles Harvey-Hunt died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. She was 53.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Bancroft Harvey.

Survivors include her two sons, Harvey Douglas Hunt and Adam Hunt, both of New Orleans; a daughter, Mia Hunt of Metairie; her mother, Addie M. Harvey of Port Gibson; two brothers, Stanley Harvey of Picayune, Miss., and Marvin Harvey of Port Gibson; aunts, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including Althea Lane, Conelia Collins, Larain McDaniel, Qwendolyn Brooks and Deborah Johnson-Lock.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Mercy Seat M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Thompson Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home and Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
