Two men were in serious condition at University Medical Center in Jackson following a single vehicle wreck in the 6100 block of Gibson Road around 6 Sunday morning, officials said.
24-year-old Donald Moore, 208 Lealand Drive, and his passenger, Kevin McLemore, 23, 1535 Marcus St., were both taken to UMC from River Region Medical Center following the wreck — which Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said likely involved alcohol.
“Alcohol was suspected as an underlying cause,” said Pace. “Blood tests were taken by officers, and if they come back from the crime lab showing alcohol was a factor, charges will be filed.”
No charges have been filed thus far.
Moore was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang and left the roadway into a ditch, said Pace.
