The condition of a 7-year-old city boy injured in a bicycle accident a week ago has been upgraded to good, said Peggy Wagner, spokesman for University Medical Center in Jackson onWednesday.

Jaylen Davis, 214 Alfred Drive, was in fair condition after being admitted to UMC May 27 with head and arm injuries.

Jaylen, who had just learned to ride, lost control of his bike while riding downhill near his home and hit a metal pole, Vicksburg Sgt. Beverly Prentiss said.
