The Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will present a contest tonight showcasing the talent and expressions of 11 girls.
The sorority’s 10th biennial Jabberwock contest, named after the “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” Jabberwocky character, will feature an entertainment program with the theme, Remembering The King of Pop, at Warren Central High School auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
“Everything is going to be from Michael Jackson,” Jabberwock chairwoman Loretta Brantley said. “The girls have been practicing, and this program will showcase teamwork and cooperation. This program will help them get in front of an audience and express themselves.”
