Lorelei Books in downtown Vicksburg will host book-signings and author readings throughout the summer.

Denise Gee and Robert Peacock will sign copies of “Porch Parties: Cocktail Recipes and Easy Ideas for Outdoor Entertaining” at 4:30 p.m. July 8.

Recipes from the book will be served courtesy of Café Anchuca.

Author Carolyn Haines will sign copies of “Bone Appetit,” the latest installment in her Mississippi Delta Mystery series, at noon July 9.

Also on July 9, at 4 p.m., Timothy B. Smith will sign “Mississippi in the Civil War: The Home Front.”

The store will host TGIF book chats from 5 to 6 p.m. June 25.
