Johnathan Boone, an engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, has become a licensed land surveyor in Mississippi.

Boone became licensed by taking the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Principles and Practices of Surveying Exam along with the Mississippi Section Exam.

A civil engineering graduate from Mississippi State University, he has served as a construction manager for many civil works construction projects in Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.

He and his wife, Amanda, have one daughter, Ella Kate.
