Fourth man held in supplies theft

A Vicksburg man arrested by Warren County deputies Sunday night is the fourth person nabbed in a theft reported May 9.

Mark E. Davidson, 42, 3700 Gowall Road, is accused of taking components used to build outdoor metal buildings from the 4800 block of Oak Ridge Road, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Davidson’s stepsons, John Taylor Burton, 19, same address, was arrested May 13, and Lance Burton, 22, 3749 Gowall Road, was charged on May 19 in the theft, Pace said.

On May 12, Eric Porter, 39, 120 Pineywoods Drive, also was charged in the theft.

Davidson was being held without bond at the Warren County Jail today pending an initial appearance in court.

Porter was released on a $5,000; John Burton on a $2,500; and Lance Burton on a $2,500.
