A Vicksburg man who was stabbed Friday night and drove himself to the hospital remained in River Region Medical Center Saturday night in good condition, officials said.

Casey Smith, 36, Sky Farm Avenue, told police he was stabbed once in the abdomen during a fight with another man at the Elks Lodge on Walnut and Jackson streets, said Lt. Davey Barnette of the Vicksburg Police Department.

Hospital spokesman Diane Gawronsk gave the condition report.

The cause of the fight was not made public, and no arrest had been made, Barnette said.
