This and that Juneteenth event Saturday in city

The South Mississippi Conference Lay Organization will host a Juneteenth celebration Saturday in Vicksburg.

The event, to celebrate the abolition of slavery, will begin with a program at noon at Travis Chapel A.M.E. Church, 745 Hutson St.
