Miss Corley, Mr. Pierce to recite vows Aug. 7

Phillip and Marilyn Corley of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Suzanne, to Paul Edward Pierce. Mr. Pierce is the son of Eddie and Sally Pierce of Seminary.

Miss Corley is the granddaughter of Ruth Nevels and the late Wayne Q. Nevels of Vicksburg and the late Charlie and Dottie Corley of Augusta, Ga.

Mr. Pierce is the grandson of Edna Jean Aultman and the late James Aultman of Seminary and the late Eddie and Ruth Pierce of Petal.

The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Aloysius High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in criminology from Sam Houston State University.

Miss Corley is employed with the U.S. Probation Office, Southern District of Mississippi in Hattiesburg.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Seminary High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mr. Pierce is employed with Pierce Concrete Services.

Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Aug. 7, 2010, at Grace Outreach Church in Seminary. A reception will follow at Sterling’s in Seminary. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
