DODDSVILLE — Don Denton of Doddsville died Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Greenwood. He was 66.

Mr. Denton was born in Louisiana and was a retired diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Jackson and Ruth Jane Denton; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his two sisters, Doris Dew of Vicksburg and Julie McClurg of Carrollton; and two brothers, Kenneth Denton of Scooba and Wayne Denton of Greenville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona with the Rev. Bob Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Winona Garden of Memory. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
