MEMPHIS ­— Milton G. “Buck” Tooma died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Delta Medical Center in Memphis. He was 84.

Mr. Tooma was a former resident of Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Tooma.

Survivors include his four daughters, Velda Griffin of Memphis, Shirley Porter of Park Forest, Ill., Laverna Phelps of Atlanta and Bobbie Porter of Crystal Springs; two sons, Robert Sims of County Club Hill, Ill., and Robert Butler of Vicksburg; and a sister, Bertha Tooma of Louisville, Ken.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Monday at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home.
