A Warren-Yazoo Mental Health Service employee has reached a milestone in training.

Jimmy Hester is the 500th graduate of the College of Direct Support, an Internet-based system that aims to improve the skills of people who provide support for those with disabilities.

Hester, 42, has worked at Warren-Yazoo for six years. He is a physical site tech in the chemical recovery unit.

The College of Direct Support is available in at least 30 states, with about 150,000 people enrolled nationwide and 2,000 in Mississippi.
