Walter Luster of Claiborne County puts the finishing touches on his 1955 Ford Thunderbird, which will carry Miss Mississippi State University Fenly Akers in Monday night’s annual Miss Mississippi Parade. Akers, of Vicksburg, will join 44 other contestants in the procession, which will roll at 7 along Washington Street.
