A Vicksburg man was taken to River Region Medical Center Friday night after being stabbed multiple times, said Vicksburg police Sgt. Larry Burns, an officer at the scene.

The stabbing, reported at an apartment at 108-A Cossar Court, was called in by the victim’s nephew around 8:45, Burns said. Burns declined to identify the victim, but gave an age, 66.

Police were investigating, and there were no suspects as of Friday night, Burns said.
