TOONE, Tenn. — Brenda Lee Gibson Young died Friday, July 9, 2010, at her home in Toone, Tenn. She was 70.

Mrs. Young was born in Hardeman County, Tenn., and had lived in Toone since 2005. A golfer and homemaker, she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Enloe Gibson and Annie Virginia Irwin Gibson; her husband, Jimmie Wayne Young; and two sisters, Winnifred Gibson Siler and Catherine Inez Hayley.

She is survived by a son, Philip W. Young of Vicksburg; a brother, Steve Gibson of Toone; a sister, Katie Orelia Williams of Phoenix; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
