I would like to send the folks at the co-op on U.S. 61 North a great big thank you.

I went by their store to pick up some seed for my front yard. While in the store, I got real hot and thought I was going to faint. All of a sudden, three big men came in the store. Two of them caught my arms, so I wouldn’t fall and the other one went and got a rocker for me to sit down. Then one of the men went and got me a cold bottle of water.

I went ahead and paid for my seed and one of the guys put it in the car for me. By this time, I had cooled off and told one of the men if they would help me to my car, I could go home. The men told me no and didn’t I have anybody that I could call. I told them again just get me to the car and I would be all right. They said no, so one of the men drove me home and one of the others followed him so he would have a way to get back to work.

There are not too many people who would take off work to drive a customer home, so I think they deserve a big thank you.
