The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Richard Ball of Tupelo. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G.O. Parker Jr. of Magee and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ball of Monticello.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Sellers of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hall of Starkville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Sellers of Forest City, Ark.
A garden atmosphere provided the setting for the exchanging of vows. Flanked by stone urns of spring flowers, a floral arch of wisteria, white roses and purple tulips served as a focal point during the worship ceremony.
Nuptial music was provided by Dr. Cass Patrick, the Rev. Randy Wood, Frances Blackwell, Sandy Coutoumanos and Summer Young.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory, strapless gown of beaded lace that featured a pickup skirt and chapel-length train. At the waist, a pleated, champagne-satin sash extended into streamers the length of the train. A garland of purple hydrangea florets and miniature white roses adorned the bride’s fingertip tulle veil.
Tied with white-satin ribbon and accented with peacock feathers, her clutch bouquet included an assortment of green hydrangeas, white Akito roses, ranunculus and waxflower and purple seafoam statice.
The bride also wore an antiqued diamond pendant made of white gold, a wedding gift from the groom.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Kelli Woody of Madison. Bridesmaids were Erin Sellers of Vicksburg and Leah Sellers of Starkville, sisters of the groom; Brittany Main and Betsy Beane, both of Olive Branch; Kate Rather of Tupelo; Jackie Capps of Starkville; Anna McCarley of Saltillo; Vaughn Phipps of Water Valley; and Emily Kennedy of Jackson, Tenn.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Sellers, brother of the groom, and Philip Hite, both of Vicksburg; Parker Ball, brother of the bride, of Tupelo; Daryl Harper of Little Rock, Ark.; and Chad Blackshear, Matt Douglass, Alan Hawkins and Caleb Hodges, all of Starkville.
Serving as flower girls were Lily Augusta Winton and Elise Winton, both of Starkville. Ring bearer was Henry Elvis Phipps of Water Valley.
Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the couple was given in the Grand Hall and Fellowship Hall of the church. Randy Wood provided special music.
After a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple is making their home in Starkville.
