An active methamphetamine cook was interrupted by Warren County deputies Sunday night, leading to the arrest of a Vicksburg woman and a Holly Bluff man, said Sheriff Martin Pace.

Ida Nicole “Nicki” Graves, 26, 84 Shiloh Lane, was arrested at 11:40 at her home, which is off Mosely Gap Road. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing meth, Pace said.

About an hour later, William L. Cooper, 37, 3590 Spanish Fort Road, was charged with possession, manufacturing and sale of meth, Pace said.

The arrests came after an investigation by deputies, who recovered chemicals at the home and called cleanup crews from a state environmental office, Pace said.

“The manufacturing operation was a joint endeavor by Graves and Cooper,” the sheriff said.

The two were being held in the Warren County Jail without bond pending an initial hearing today.
